Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was a former supermodel is also a director of films. Known for her elegant beauty her long-standing presence in the intense film industry is a reflection of her skills and talent as performer. In the late 1970s the model began her career. She quickly was one of the most prominent actors in the industry. After completing her acting studies Russo embarked on a career as a model working in Los Angeles. Russo made her debut on the screen on ABCs Sable drama series in 1987. She portrayed Eden Kendell. The first film she acted in, Major League was released two years later. Russo portrayed Tom Berengers 'love interest. She was initially doubtful about her talent as an actor however, the critics were convinced by her consistent performances. She was praised for her performance on Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak, where she competed with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. However by her own admission she has never been passionate with acting. In 2005 she went on a self-imposed hiatus. Then she returned by playing a character in the film about superheroes called Thor. The film also featured her in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler which was produced by husband. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were lighthearted comedies in which she starred.

Rose Namajunas, one of the UFC's most popular female athletes, is a successful athlete. Her career began as an amateur fighter, and she fought for a variety of regional events. Later on she joined Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Namajunas has racked up a lot of fame since joining the UFC due to both her inside and outside the octagon success. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose played basketball and kickboxing while growing up. at the age of 18, she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she took two wins by submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at the age of 22 she signed her for a fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose has been through the highs and lows of her professional career. But she has always been a winner. In April 2015 Rose took on Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by a technical knockout just 3 minutes in Round One and not just champion but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along with creating history within MMA as this fight marked only the first time that woman was a champion with a major promoter around the world . Namajunas was able to win a few other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned the Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
